Real-time assessment of timber-surface crack repair is crucial to the stability and safety timber structures. Epoxy resin was used cracks, active sensing technique using piezoelectric ceramics applied monitor process surface cracks in real time. Sixteen wood samples were designed for axial compression tests monitoring tests. A pair lead zirconate titanate patches pasted on specimens as actuators sensors signal transmission reception, through wavelet packet analysis, variations amplitude, coefficients.
